CAD designs (Computer-Aided Design) are the technical plans used to map out a media wall with precise measurements and structure. They show exactly where everything will go, such as the TV, shelving, fireplace, and wiring, ensuring the design fits the space and can be built correctly. These drawings focus on accuracy and functionality, making them essential for our installers during the construction process.
Digital rendering, on the other hand, is the visual stage where the CAD design is turned into a realistic image of the finished media wall. It shows materials, colours, lighting, and textures in a way that looks like a real-life photo, helping you understand how the final result will appear in your room. This stage focuses more on aesthetics, allowing you to experiment with different styles and finishes before anything is built.
Together, CAD designs and digital rendering work hand in hand, with CAD ensuring the media wall is practical and correctly planned, while rendering helps you visualise how it will look once completed.
At Amelia Creations, we offer a comprehensive design service for £250; should you proceed with the installation, this fee will be fully deducted from the overall project cost.
